Hey! I'm Mags, a professional chef with over a decade of hospitality experience. Originally from Kansas City, I moved to New York City with a goal to find something more niche within the hospitality community. I value the amazing world restaurants bring to the community so much- and it’s where I spent most of my time learning my skills of how to cook from other amazing chefs- but I knew I wanted some new experiences under my belt to hone my other skills in community building and business.
I found a food-based nonprofit that I was able to get into the high-end events game with! I’m so happy to was a part of something that I was able to add my skills to to promote some good in the world. After over 3 years, i've moved on to other possibilities.
Now, I'm a private chef, host popups, and help host community events. It's been a blast getting to know the local food scene and I'm looking to do more! Personally, I’m on a mission to eat lots of good food, cook equally good food, and transform the kitchen into a space where folks get inspired! Let’s get into it!
